Tatiana
is the founding bitch for the Rodina Kennels. She is a
daughter of
Malmö Irina. Both dogs followed a Russian theme and the name
for the Rodina Kennels was chosen from the Russian love of their
motherland – Rodina.
The statue depicted on the Rodina Kennels web site, stands near the
Russian city of Volgograd. This is the city which was at the heart of
ferocious conflict during World War II and pivotal in turning the tide of
the war, thus saving the Motherland (Rodina) from the enemy.
Many women gave their lives in those battles to save their children and
the Motherland from the enemy at their gates. A tribute to those
heroines and to all Russians generally is found in the statue of Rodina.

is the largest free standing statue in the world and it depicts a warrior
mother protecting her children and her land from threatening foe.

which is the Russian diminutive for ‘Michael’. The three girls and
